I am pleased to welcome all visitors of the Information & eGovernment Authority (iGA) corporate website; wishing that our provided services and information will meet your satisfaction.
Your continuous communication with us is highly appreciated, as it contributes in enhancing the quality of our presented services across this portal.
Through this website, we seek to profile authority’s effective role on a national level in the ICT sector along with its services provided to all institutions and individuals in Bahrain – which corresponds to the national plans. We are proud of this role and strive to strengthen partnerships between all sectors to achieve national interest that contributes in supporting the national economy in line with Vision 2030.
There is no doubt that the foundation of partnership between the eGovernment Authority and Central Informatics Organization has led to implementing numerous joint national projects – benefiting a large segment of society individuals, public and private institutions. With the issuance of the Royal Decree No. 69 in 2015 concerning the merge, this journey was progressed to advanced levels and backed by joint efforts accompanied by increasing the pace of productivity with the purpose of improving efficiency to achieve national strategies and support the government direction in reducing expenditures, in light of dealing with the economic challenges without any effect on the accomplishments and key processes, which requires finding the creation of innovative solutions and taking advantage of the available resources as well as converting challenges to opportunities.
Thanks to the support and follow-up of the Interior Minister His Excellency Lieutenant-General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah AlKhalifa and his continuous guidance to increase the joint efforts and system developments by adopting the latest trends in the field. The authority has once again renewed its national duty of implementing the Government Action Plan by reshaping its national strategic role - following the merge process – and supporting government entities to enhance the national progress.
Today, IGA's strategy focuses on supporting the IT sector and its security by developing systems, adopting the latest trends in this field and enhancing the transformation process towards the national cloud. In addition to the enhancements and delivery of more ID card services which reduce time and efforts on beneficiaries, development of data services and statistic indicators to take necessary decisions alongside the eGovernment services which have been re-engineered to support the Change Management of public eServices.
We promise to achieve integration and availability of information; given the importance of its effect on the economy and role in developing projects based on accurate data. Efforts of authority specialists and experts in joining projects as well as analyzing data to shape the decision-making process are indeed appreciated.
In conclusion, I would like to once again welcome your participation which will undoubtedly improve the quality of the website. I certainly hope that you find website content to be useful and enjoyable with services that meet your satisfaction. Lastly, your opinions and comments are highly valued and we hope that you constantly contact us.
