Mr. Ali Abdulaziz Mohammed JanahiDeputy Chief Executive, Electronic Transformation
With more than 17 years of experience in Information and Communication Technology (ICT), the Deputy Chief Executive for Electronic Transformation at the Information & eGovernment Authority (iGA), Mr. Ali Janahi is widely recognized for his expertise in designing and managing technical systems and infrastructure with a focus on cybersecurity. He was responsible for supervising the development and management of secure and efficient systems to support defense operations and national level decision-making.
Mr. Janahi has held several leadership positions, including the General Secretariat of the Supreme Defense Council (SDC), where he was the Director of Information and Communication Technology, and at the National Security Advisor's Office, where he led strategic initiatives aimed at enhancing cybersecurity and optimizing technical operations. He also served as Project Manager at the Bahrain Royal Guard leading several major technology projects in line with national priorities.
A dedicated volunteer, with notable contributions to national sports through his membership in the Bahrain Olympic Committee and various federations. His technical expertise proved instrumental in organizing major local and international competitions, elevating the Kingdom’s standing on the global stage.
Mr. Janahi integrates academic excellence with practical expertise to develop innovative solutions that drive national digital initiatives and enhance institutional infrastructure. A passionate advocate for the deployment of cutting-edge technologies such as artificial intelligence, he leverages these advancements for performance improvements and cybersecurity fortification. He holds a Bachelor'sdegree in Information Technology with Honors from the Birla Institute of Technology, along with multiple advanced professional certifications from prestigious institutions, including the University of Oxford.
