Information & eGovernment Authority (iGA) Invites the Public to Visit its awareness Stand at Bahrain City Centre

As part of its continuous efforts towards promoting digital initiatives and direct communication with the public, the Information & eGovernment Authority (iGA) invites all citizens and residents to visit its awareness stand at the Bahrain City Centre from February 12 until 19, 2025. Through the promotional stand, visitors will be able to get to know more about the recently launched "MyGov” app and the revamped eKey 2.0 app, which are both available via the eGovernment Apps Store (bahrain.bh/apps).
Director of the Communications & Marketing at the Information & eGovernment Authority (iGA) Mrs. Lulwa Sami, stated that this awareness initiative is part of the overall promotional campaign for the two mobile applications. It also reflects iGA's responsibility to continue raising awareness among citizens and residents about the various services and digital channels it provides, ensuring easy and convenient access.
Mrs. Lulwa Sami highlighted that visitors to the stand will be able to learn more about the features of the "MyGov" app and how to use the "eKey 2.0" applications. The awareness stand will also provide necessary support to ensure a smooth and efficient user experience when accessing eServices. Additionally, Mrs. Lulwa Sami noted that the stand will serve the public, listen to their feedback, and gather suggestions for improvements which can contribute to enhancing the quality of provided eServices within the new mobile app improving the overall user experience.
The Information & eGovernment Authority (iGA) invites citizens and residents to download the "MyGov " and the revamped eKey 2.0 apps, and submit their inquiries, comments, and suggestions via the National Suggestions and Complaints System (Tawasul) or Tawasul app or contact the Government Services Call Center at 80008001.
It is worth noting that the MyGov app provides users with a unified login experience for 41 services offered by 9 government entities, including identity card services, traffic services, and more. Additionally, the revamped eKey 2.0 app enables citizens and residents to access services and systems seamlessly through biometric authentication (facial recognition), eliminating the need for a password (password-less). This ensures easy access to services and facilitates the completion of transactions efficiently and swiftly.
