Recognition & Awards

With the attendance and under the patronage of Shaikh Mohammed bin Abdullah Al-Mubarak Al-Sabah, Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs in Kuwait, together with Arab and GCC delegates, public and private organization representatives; the honoring ceremony of the eGovernment Excellence Award winners was held in Kuwait. The list of winners included the Information & eGovernment Authority (iGA) Chief Executive Mr. Mohammed Ali AlQaed who was awarded with the Smart Government Excellence Award for his substantial achievements in implementing the National eGovernment Strategy in Bahrain which resulted in the development of the presented government services, the high level of maturity in eTransformation by ministries and institutions, as well as the public’s demand on benefiting from the eGovernment services - as a successful choice.
