Royal Academy of Police visit

The Information & eGovernment Authority welcomed the Royal Academy of Police students at its premises in Isa Town yesterday with the purpose of learning about authority’s nature of work, its objectives and the important, vital role it plays in serving society institutions and individuals.
The visit encompassed a delegation of approximately 29 Office Management Diploma students who were welcomed by Identity Card Director Shaikh Subah bin Hamad AlKhalifa. The iGA team gave a brief of the authority, its services and projects delivered for the public; along with a description of the ID card and other related services.
Towards the end of the visit, the delegation was also welcomed by General Director of Identity Population Registry Mr. Nazih Abdulla Al-Jowder, and went for a tour around the ID Card Department to learn about the methods of applying for the card and its printing process. The tour also comprised the Fast Track Office (which issues the card) accompanied by the ID Card Dispenser Machine. The delegation were also able to register within the eKey service and informed of its benefits.
