Mohammed Khalifa AlYassiDirector, Operations Directorate
AlYassi possesses a professional experience of 37 years in IT out-of-which 13 in the Information & eGovernment Authority where he held other positions such as Director of Computer Operations at the Central Informatics Organization (previously). His years of experience include a number of achievements like the development of the Backup Computer Center, Central Email Project and transfer of NGI as well as eKey to the operational environment of the National Data Center of Shared Services.
His professional life began as a system programmer in Gulf Air in 1998. Other previous positions encompass Chief of Technical Support, followed by the management of the Computer Operations directorate where he supervised all services related to government networks, ministries’ connections, hosting systems in Central Data Center and meeting ministries’ requests for information systems infrastructure services.
He holds a Master Degree in Management of IT from University of Sunderland and Bachelor Degree in Computer Studies from University of Maryland.
